My husband may or may not be transforming me into a si fi nerd. I can appreciate Star Wars a bit more, now that I recognize Princess Leia as an actual & legit Disney Princess. Hahaha!!!! I LOVE MY MAN!!!

Interesting Dessert

Today is our cheat day. We are allowed to eat whatever we want today. We went to the store and bought several things. One thing that was on my mind was doing peach cobbler, in the Dutch Oven. Unfortunately the dutch oven that Julie had is pretty big... We had plenty of peaches, but not enough of the cinnamon struessel cake.. so we ended up adding chocolate cake mix... now there might be a little bit to much in the dutch oven... and it's really hard to get in the oven... pictures to come!

Nerd Alert

My wife likes to point out that I'm a total nerd. On that note, I have read three books this month. All of them have been star wars books. 1. "Dark Tide 1: Onslaught" 2. "Agents of Chaos 1: Hero's Trial" 3. "Agents of Chaos 2: Jedi Eclipse" They were all pretty good, but I do love Star Wars. Enough Said. She might not know this until she reads this blog, but our kids are going to be knee deep in Star Wars. HAHAHAH!

Saddness... Julie has been sick.

Julie has been sick the last week and a half or so. Julie just doesn't do well while she is sick. I tried to do my best to make her comfortable, but it just wasn't working. She hasn't even been able to get any sleep until just this past sunday. But even when she is sick, she is amazing! I love her! She is feeling better, so hopefully that trend continues.

Julie hasn't been feeling very well today. We ended up not going to church. Since we didn't, I decided it would be a great idea to watch the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Julie has never sat down to watch them all at once. I enjoyed it but by the middle of the second Julie was done. Go figure.

About a week ago I made a bet with Julie on if corn was a vegetable or a grain. I lost, corn is considered a grain. Part of this bet is that Julie would get a new dishwasher.

The dishwasher came, it's pretty nice. Thanks to Drew its been installed, and Julie is a happy girl. I just need to make sure to win the next bet...

No Girls Allowed!

So today I walked into the living room to find Tommy hiding in a fort that he had just built with his mad skills. What was even funnier was that, if you notice the little white envelope sitting on the top there, it says "No girls allowed".

So a funny thing happened the other day. Julie was kind of annoyed with all the shedding that our dog Charlie was doing. She wanted to get a lint roller, but because we didn't have one, she decided to use tape. The tape worked... Doesn't he kind of remind you of an Imperial Walker?

Oh so over the summer we have been trying very hard to get into shape. Part of our motivation for this is that we are going to be getting fitness pictures taken at the end of September. I'm pretty excited for it, but I so don't feel ready for it. On the bright side however, both Julie and I have been getting much closer to our weight goals.

So Julie and I are going to start a blog. Not really sure at the moment what we are going to do with it, but I kinda want to make it something like a shared journal. We can go back in a few years and see how we thought and felt as we are sharing our lives together. It should be fairly interesting.
